Wings, Wheels And Moving Things
On Tuesday we had to relate these hexagons with each other. The hexagons are about moving things and we needed to connect them all together. We grouped them by the headings speed, lift, motion, flight, force and some others.

Self defence
On Thursday Lynda came to our school to teach us about self defence. The lesson was three hours and we learnt about all sorts of stuff. one of my favourite moves was the flick kick, where you hit your knee up than kicked your foot out.
We also learnt how to get out of sticky situations and fight back. Some of the scenarios we learnt were if someone pulls over beside you and asks for directions and then hops out of the car you know it's a sign to get out of there.
Also if someone is peer pressuring you to do something you need to act confidently and repeat your answer. The day was really fun and educational, I cant wait to do it next time.

Biking the rail trail
On Friday the 24 of March sonic was going to bike the rail trail. First we all arrived at school and loaded the truck with our bikes. After that we had to find which cars we were in. My mum was one of the drivers and I was with her. The car trip was about half an hour but my group and I made use of the time. Finally we got there and had something to eat the class also had a group photo. The parents had to drop the cars of at Motukarara and then come back so all of us had to wait for a while.
After the parents got back we set off down the trail I was scared that I would ride into the lake but I didn't. The first event that happened along the way was that Jamie and Stella crashed in front of me but I stopped in time. After they got up Jamie carried on but Stella's front of her bike was jammed so I stayed. A few minutes later Wendy came so I left.
At last lunch break came as I biked into the grass area I saw a huge rocky hill and most of the class was climbing on it. Freya asked me to go up with her but I said no. Lunch time ended and we carried on. About five minutes later I saw some sheep on the trail up ahead I was too nervous to chase them so Sonya, Lily and Phoebe went in front. Later I reached the end and mum clapped for me. We loaded the bikes into the truck, got into the cars and went back to school. We got our bikes back and were allowed to have free time for the rest of the day. I'm glad I did it.

3 sentences about the 5 performances on the inquiry page of the sonic blog
The performances have used effective oral language by using some interesting words and comedy like the one with mr bean in it and the robots. They have also used some good characters to get the message across like the robots with " all the humans are dead". I especially liked the way mr bean went over the top with his lunch because it was hilarious and good fun to watch.

All about refugees quiz
Q : How many refugees are currently in Greece?
A) 57,042
B) 2,000,000
C) 140,000
ANSWER
I think that Greece have been amazing because they have opened their borders to refugees but its not just Greece's problem! It is really difficult for Greece to have to deal with this issue and we need to help them by accepting more refugees into other countries and donating some money to this cause.
